Economist Jan Svejnar, the James T. Shotwell Professor of Global Political Economy and director of the Center on Global Economic Governance at Columbia SIPA, has received the European International Business Academy’s Distinguished Honorary Fellowship Award for 2018.

EIBA is a professional association in Europe for academics, business people, and other practitioners with an interest in international business. Each year the group recognizes a figure whose work is germane to international business research or practice.

Svejnar was honored December 15 at the group’s annual conference in Poznán, Poland, where he also spoke about “Addressing Processes of Change and the Emergence of New Phenomena in the International Business Environment.”
