Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs announced that Anisa Kamadoli Costa MIA ’98 has joined the School’s Advisory Board.

Costa is the chairman and president of the Tiffany & Co. Foundation and chief sustainability officer at Tiffany & Co. As CSO, Costa directs Tiffany’s global sustainability agenda, improving global corporate standards, minimizing the company’s environmental impact, and driving partnerships across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She complements this work through her role at the Foundation, where she oversees strategic grantmaking focused on responsible mining and coral conservation. Before joining Tiffany & Co., Costa held positions at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, JPMorgan Chase, and the U.S. mission to the United Nations.

Costa has been an active member of the SIPA alumni community since her graduation in 1998. Most recently, she was a member of the SIPA 70th Anniversary Honorary Committee, helping to shape the weekend celebration which drew close to 800 alumni and friends to New York City. As part of the weekend’s SIPA Forum, she spoke on the Foundations—Catalysts for Social and Economic Transformation panel. Anisa has served as a mentor and career counselor to students. This year will celebrate her 20th reunion.

“I am honored to be joining the SIPA Advisory Board,” Costa said. “The training I received as a student continues to shape my career as a foundation and CSR professional. I look forward to working with my fellow advisory board members and the School's administration to further SIPA’s mission and support the next generation of policy leaders.”
