The Columbia Commitment Campaign is an ambitious five year university-wide campaign to engage more alumni and donors, with a goal of reaching $5 billion by June 2021, the most ambitious year-to-year campaign target in University history. The campaign focuses on a set of interdisciplinary Commitments—University-wide initiatives. There are currently seven Commitments, each firmly rooted in core areas of Columbia’s widely recognized leadership in teaching and research: Climate Response, Just Societies, Precision Medicine, Arts and Ideas, Data and Society, the Future of Neuroscience, and Global Solutions.

As the world’s most global policy school, SIPA’s mission is to engage scholars, practitioners and future policy leaders through training, research and informed debate and to identify meaningful ways to advance the global public interest in the face of a changing world. This dedication to engaging in the world through innovative scholarship and teaching is core to SIPA’s mission and the campaign is an opportunity to continue to invest in SIPA’s remarkable students and faculty.

The Columbia Commitment builds partnerships with donors and volunteers sharing an urgent sense of what Columbians can do for our students and the world.
