Mehdi Benatiya Andaloussi is a fifth year student in Columbia's PhD program in Sustainable Development where he specializes in Resource and Environmental Economics.

A native of Paris, France, he received a Master of Science in Engineering from Mines ParisTech and pursued his undergraduate education in Mathematics and Physics at Louis Le Grand. Before joining Columbia, Mehdi worked with the World Bank, the Fundaçao Getulio Vargas and the Boston Consulting Group.
